The farmhouse retains many original features including a wealth of exposed beams and with real fires in wood burning stoves housed in inglenook fireplaces. The farmhouse is situated in a truly superb location just a stone's throw from the shores of Lake Bala, yet within just a few minutes walk of Bala town with all its amenities including leisure centre with swimming pool, quaint local shops, award-winning restaurants and numerous cosy and friendly pubs. A truly excellent Farmhouse with bags of space, Pen Y Bont is perfect for a getaway for any situation and is situated in a spectacular location for any holiday for a family or a group of friends.

Within the grounds are lawns, a fruit patch where you can pick the raspberries, a wooded area with stream, and the site of Castell Gronw, steeped in the mysterious ancient folklore of the tale of Blodeuwedd and Gronw Pebyr, as told in the Mabinogion.
